Woke up this a.m. to a skating rink out in front of us on the lake. I’s been a long time since I’ve seen it freeze that smooth, and I’m sure it won’t stay that way.  We are plugging along getting equipment ready and making  some new changes to the rentals. Basically taken advantage of every “nice” weather day we are having.   I really hope this weather pattern breaks soon, I’m anxious to get going…..Eddy

After yesterday and last night it looks like we are going backwards in the ice making dept. for the next few days  Good time to go to the St.Paul Ice Fishing show and see all the new stuff and “old” stuff pertaining to Ice Fishing. This year Clam Corp is putting on a display of ice fishing then to now.  Last Saturday some of my friends at Clam came up and we went thru some of the “old” Ice Fishing things we had here and loaded them up in the trailer for the booth.  If your in the cities this weekend you might want to go check it out.  There is some pretty neat things to look at.  ( I can’t believe I used to use some of that stuff!!)  Until then….Keep a tight line!

Ice formed on the main lake in front of us overnight, but it’s not going to stay.  With the warmer weather coming over the next few days things are going to stay in limbo for awhile.   It’s a good time for all the private owners to get up here and do the last minute changes/fixes to their houses over this next weekend.    Keep the A/C on!!  Eddy
