It looks like after this coming week things will start to warm some and melt out on the lake. I want to make a last swing thru the areas we go to and pick up what ever was hidden under the snow over winter.  Most of everything was removed when the houses came off, (including blocks), but after it melts its easier to see and pick up. With the temps below freezing most of the last two weeks not much has changed out there.  There is not even open water on top of the shallow reefs yet.

At the Marine shop we removed all the merchandise, shelves, etc. from the “store” and got rid of the old blue carpet that we installed when Cindy and I bought the place 20 years ago. (It was time…)  The floor is now a “epoxy” flake floor that will be easy to clean, look good and not wear. Alot of work but worth it.

At the same time I’m having the floor in the new Ice Fishing Office, (the barn) done also. It will be wood grained, plank style epoxy floor to resemble “weathered wood”.  Also easy to clean and wear well. which will be nice.

Time to start thinking Boats..
