December 11th, 2014

Yesterday fishing reports were mixed from very slow to very good, depending on where you were.  It seems that shallower did the better.  A 29 inch Walleye was caught along with a couple 30 inch plus Northern, but most reports were Perch with the “keepers” being around 10-11 range.

Today I’m going to finally get out and check ice farther out and maybe stake some trials for portable fishermen to some of the deeper reefs out in front of us. With the warmer weather we will not be driving that far with vehicles. For this weekend we are going to stay on the rougher ice where it’s the thickest. We’ll see how it goes next week after things start freezing again.

We have some of our deluxe houses out. We have pulled some of the privates and will resume pulling more after the weekend with plans to have everything out in the next week, weather permitting. We will be allowing 1/2 or smaller vehicles out and wheelhouses pulled ATVs for the weekend.

Keep a Tight Line!
