Looked at our weather forecast this morning an the storm expected in the southern half of MN is moving its storm track a little north and we are in a 4-8″ area now.  With the ice depths that are out there now 7-9″, plus an inch that was made last night,   4-8″ of snow is not a good thing. I will not be pulling out any rentals after hearing about the snow. Last thing I want is to have big drifts around a house on 10 inches of ice…

With the winds and sub zero temps, (down to -20) following it Saturday and back to the deep freeze I expect the portable fishermen will probably not make the trip, so our first weekend will be a slow one. Hopefully the snow will stay south.  All we are going to do today is finish staking our roads and working on the roads that are going thru the rougher areas of ice closer to shore.

I’ll probably update this again this evening.

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
