Today I spent most of the day plowing with the Jeep.  Made it on the “Tullibee Road” close to the Banana Reef but a large flooded area due to a crack stopped me.  Went on the “Graveyard  Road” out to the NW side of it.  Was able to establish 40 ft wide roads on both of them, and on 8 to 9 inches of ice you could see it float up as I finished them.  but we still have a long way to go out there before we put houses out.  Once we have 12 inches on the roads we will still have minimal ice on the sides of it.  The last stretch I did NW of the Graveyard  the road was breaking up and the bank was sinking before I finished.  And that was with my little Jeep!!

Tomorrow I am going to concentrate on the areas within the first 1/3 mile from shore where the ice is rough, but thicker.   It’s going to be one step at a time, and with hopefully no more significant snow, we pull this off yet!!

No fishing report, no one fishing.  What I’ve seen so far with the few that have been out is dismal. Water clarity is not good and I don’t know if that is hurting it. or not.  but we will see what happens…

On a different note…….I think we should have a famous musician or something like that do an “Ice Aid” concert for us ice guys out there…….wouldn’t that be nice!!!    lol…….

Keep a tight Line!!
