Spent the day plowing and making more areas to put houses in close where the ice is ok.  We will not be going out to the deeper reefs for awhile and if this snow doesn’t stop hitting us every other day,  I don’t know when we’ll get there.

We are pulling rentals tomorrow for what I have rented and making spots for some of the private houses also. Talking to the DNR creel clerk tonite and telling him what I’ve got done so far he said we are doing better than most with roads and distance out into the main lake.  it is going to be a very different winter here this year on the ice,  I have change all the roads I have so far to be closer to the fishing areas and all the houses will be close to the roads.  That is something I haven’t done since the 70’s, but it is the only way to be out there this year.

No one out fishing today and I’m sure with Christmas coming there will be some quiet time. That will maybe give me some more time to get things ready out there.  Doesn’t look like we’ll have much of a Christmas here this year………
