Overnight and today fishing activity picked up.  more reports of Walleyes at night and lots of Perch today, although most Perch were small and not keep-able. One rental did keep 15 Perch which was ok.  The highlight was a 42 inch 21 lb  Northern caught by one of our privates.  With all the small Perch and the shallower water we are in due to poor ice conditions farther out, it would be a good idea to target them.

This cold weather coming is going to probably shut down the bite, but will maybe get us over the edge a little in the thin ice areas on our deeper reefs and allow me to get out there and establish some more roads without using the Jeep, (which would be nice!)  But it will still be awhile before i get houses out there.
