Last night we received some where around 6-10″ of snow. With the wind blowing last night from the east it is hard to tell. Could be more… We’ll know more when daylight come and we can see. Sounds like more might be on the way tonight/tomorrow and then into the deep freeze by Wednesday. So we will stay off the ice and let it do it’s thing and go from there when the cold hits.
We had quiet a few portable anglers out yesterday, From what reports I did get it was pretty good fishing. With the weather moving in they should have been biting.
This is definitely going to affect the ice and the slow down the freezing process. With it being mostly in the 9-12″ range it is going to be awhile. So when we re-open it will remain Portable fishing with Snowmobiles, or ATV’s with tracks until I get roads reestablished and get some ice going on them. I will be working on clearing the parking lot today and getting ready to go after the winds let up.
Keep a Tight Line! Eddy
