Today I finished the road to the “Bowl” and “knobs” NW of Spider Island.   Ices depths are about 11-12 inches in that area.  I stayed off the smooth clear ice out farther and will wait until after the weekend to check and stake where the roads will be.

We had a few portable fishermen some did pretty good and a couple not so.  there is an abundance of 10-12 inch Walleyes and they are hungry.  Also alot of smaller Perch but there are alot of nice ones too. they are just a little harder to catch.  The ones that caught them used bigger tackle.

Starting Monday, we are going to start to pull more houses and allow 1/2 ton , or smaller vehicles, wheelhouses pulled by ATV’s out about 1 1/2 miles from our shoreline, ( or to the end of our staked roads.)
