December 6th 2019

Saturday December 7th will be our first day open for the season.  We will be letting portable traffic by walking, snowmobile, and ATV (with tracks only)  out of our access starting tomorrow morning. I don’t want ATV’s with wheels and chains rutting up the slush spots, it just creates a mess for later and after working this week to get thru the worst of it I don’t want to redo it.

We have checked ice and marked trails to fishing spots and put up “thin ice” signs where we stopped checking the ice,  (And will suggest you do not go beyond also.)  Ice depth vary from as little as 5″ to as much as 12-13″ depending on where you go. a lot of it averages 7-9″

As usual, fishermen walking out can park up by the office.  Those with snowmobiles, ATV’s or camping out for the weekend in their wheelhouse back will park in the area established in our 20 acre field along the driveway.  Everyone must stop in office and we’ll give you a map with where we have went. Normal daily access/parking fees will apply.

If we miss the snow Sunday/Monday and it gets as cold as they say we’ll be in business…     🙂

Here we go…     Eddy
