It is starting to look out in front of us that the main lake ice might be staying. But with the warmer weather coming thru next Friday and the southerly winds I’m guessing that a mile or two out it will be moving. I have not even ventured out in front yet and will not be until after this weather changes and it starts getting colder.  I would think there might be some walking ice in the protected bays, but with this weeks weather forecast I myself would even be leery of that.

We will be continuing to watch, wait and hope for some colder weather.
