Sunday after noon we went out and checked more ice depths on snowmobiles. Once we were out about 1/3 of a mile on a east to west line the ice went from approx. 11 inches like we had to Popes to an average of 7 inches with wet spots. Everywhere you drilled water would come up so we have a way to go out there yet.  If the ice and cold doesn’t do their thing in the next couple days in the thin stuff, we are going to drill and flood areas where our roads will be. We’ll see what happens.  I might be able to get things established with the Jeep by then.

So far not much for fishermen showing up, probably because of ice conditions and the cold, but we will have parking available for portables and snowmobiles.
