Saturday morning the barometer was 30.95, which is about the highest readings  I’ve see.n all winter.  And  it reflected on the Walleye bite.  It was pretty quite out there Friday night and Saturday during the day. Some anglers did well, but this time the majority reported it was slow.  By late afternoon the  bite picked up and I started getting pictures sent to my cell.  The baro dropped overnight some and a few leaving early this am reported some better catches.  I’ll get a better idea of what happened out there last evening.

More snow is on the way for this week and some possible strong winds late week so we are going to have our work cut out for us, we will see how it goes. Wheelhouse customers that store here  should contact us later in the week if they are coming up so we can plan for plowing spots. There is getting to be enough snow out there that you will need chains for sure, or have a spot plowed.  So keep tabs on the report.

Keep a Tight Line!     Eddy
