Yesterday the bite was slow fr some and pretty good for others. Some C/R Walleye were reported and those with cameras were seeing them, but it was difficult to get them to bite. I would think that despite the cold and high barometer soon or later they will.
We moved a lot of rentals to new spots for the weekend. Opened a lot of new wheelhouse spots in areas to try both deep and shallow. Typically this time of year the shallow water activity picks up, but its usually an early morning late afternoon bite. For those that are patient and quiet it can be alot of fun,
This weekend sounds like it will be our last cold one with warmer weather coming for the last two weekends of the Walleye season. I plan on keeping roads out to the Tullibee Hole and some Northern Pike areas thru March or as long as the weather allows and customer interest is there.
Keep a Tight Line! Eddy
