Thursday the barometer was very high and it showed with the bite.  Not too much happening in deep or shallow except small Perch and small Walleyes. Portable fishermen were jumping all over so that is usually an indication of a slow bite.

It is not that they aren’t there. Fishermen said they sign nice sized perch and Walleyes on their cameras, but they could not get them to go.

We moved a few houses, but with the reports that the fish were there and just not biting I choose to not make any big moves with houses,  We spent the day cleaning up roads and getting ready for the weekend.  Friday night and Saturday sounds like a cool down with some NW winds, so I’m thinking we won’t see many portable guys out there until Sunday.  So we’ll see how it goes,
