February 15th, 2021

Over the weekend overall I would say fishing was slow.  Some anglers did well, some big C/R Walleye were caught by some. But for the majority it was quiet.   Shallower water spots did well if you were in the right spot.  well enough that I’m thinking of moving some rentals for it. Being quiet and keeping light  down during the evening will be key to success in shallow.

With the cold spell finally leaving this week I expect a busy last couple weeks out there with the warmer weather.  Fishing should improve some and it will be much more tolerable than the last couple weeks.

Just some  FYI’s for our customers as we approach the end of the season. Seasonal wheelhouses customers that have not prearranged summer storage with us yet will need to take their house home by February 28th.  Monday March 1st the permanent skid houses are coming off the lake and into storage lot.  Wheelhouse customers sign up for summer storage will need to  contact the office so we get a head count and get them positioned before we pull permanents them off.   All permanent houses will need to be ready to pull on March 1st. (Ready to pull means, ready on the inside, all banking on the outside shoveled away. and house up on blocks and ready to pull.)  If we need to remove banking and block up to pull there will be extra charges for that.

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
