Saturday and Sunday some fishermen did ok with the fishing and others not.  More Walleyes were caught Saturday night, mainly on the rock and little Perch dominated the caught during the day Sunday.  Shallower reefs seen Northern action both days.

Sunday late afternoon the barometer started dropping and we are expected to get 2-4 inches of snow early Monday so I’m thinking the fishermen that stayed over  will see some good action.

Getting ready for the Lybacks/TWP  Tournament next Saturday from 7:00am- 3:00pm.  Still undecided where the weigh-in/prize drawing will be  yet.  Still watching the weather.  One fishermen brought up a good question yesterday that concerned rules.  #1, any fish brought in to weigh will have to be  within Mille Lacs Special Regs.  ( Which means Walleyes can only  be weighed between 18-20 inches).  (Also 33″ to 40″ Northern Pike cannot be weighed either.)  And the question of if a contestant can have multiple  weights, for example one in each category. You will be able to catch what ever you want and bring it in to weigh, but you will only be able to record one for the contest.  Basically one fish per contestant. It should be a fun tournament.

Keep a Tight Line!!
