Yesterday’s fishing activity was light, not many on the ice.  Those that were out were seeing Walleye on camera but they were very active.

With the temps being well below zero we pretty much stayed off the ice except for those that  needed to be attended to.  Today and tomorrow as it starts warming up we will begin getting ready for the weekend.  With the warm-up and weather changes I would expect the fishing to pick up some.  At the least it will be alot more fun to be out there and move around.

The weekend wheelhouse list has started and as I write this it is approaching half full, so it’s filling relatively fast.  A reminder for seasonal wheelhouses also.  If your coming up you need to call ahead and say if you want a plowed spot too.   It’s nice to have an idea of how many to have ready ahead of time. We always plow more than needed so there are options.  But we need a number to start with.
