Monday was a pretty quiet day out there. Overnight Monday and today the bite improved and especially today.  Fishermen found some nice Perch in the “Bowl” and in a couple other spots. This afternoon on the end of the “Banana” the Walleyes moved in for a few fishermen and from about 3:00 till dark was some pretty good fishing. it’s going to be pretty cold out there Wednesday and with the barometer rising again we will see what happens. Sounds like just before the weekend the weather will change for the better.

I’m keeping with my plan of moving houses shallower for the last Walleye weekend. There are some nice sized Perch there and from what I seen last weekend it is worth the effort. Something is changing out there as it has been a long time since I have seen what is happening now and I’m going to give it a chance. I’m going to keep some rentals out until March 2nd for Perch,Northern Pike and Tullibee.  Some will be shallow for Pike and Perch and some will be out in the “Tullibee Hole” for Perch and Tullibee.  So give us a call…..

Still undecided where we will have the weigh-in station for the TWP Tournament this Saturday.  It’s a toss up from the finish on the ice or having it back on land in the field along the driveway.  I want to make have it be as enjoyable as I can for everyone and if it means getting out of the wind and cold on the ice, we will have it back where the trees block the wind and cold. We plan on having a huge bonfire back there if we need it.

Keep a Tight Line!  Eddy
