Over the weekend the fishing reports were mixed from fair to poor with some exceptions of some nice catches. Some shallow water spots did very well in the early am and dusk hours, Some deeper rocks did well overnight. But overall it was definitely slower than last weekend,

The warmer temps helped absorb moisture in the snow and with the clear ice we have this year with no air it. Flooding did occur in spots that hadn’t before.  I’m sure there will be a little  more the next couple days before the cold weather comes. By the weekend things will be freezing up by the sounds of it.

Our weekend wheelhouse list starts Tues @ 7;00.  With our rentals, permanent skidhouse customers and seasonal wheelhouse customers we only take a limited number of weekenders so everyone have their space, have some piece and quiet, and an amount so we can take care of all if snowstorms or ice problems occur.  We started doing this a year ago and it has been appreciated by many.
