February 25th, 2021

Wednesday evening the bite was OK, but during the day and overnight last evening was very slow from what reports I’ve heard this morning.  The Tullibee bite was good in the early morning yesterday for some anglers also with limits of 10 by mid morning for some.

We received a couple of inches snow Wednesday evening so we will be reopening most of the wheelhouse spots for the weekend and I plan on making some more in shallower reef areas. With the warmer weather and predicted strong south winds on Friday, I’m hoping the snow settles enough so we do not have alot of drifting, but with gusts up to 45 mph they say there might be some pretty good drifting out there for awhile. We will be plowing driveways to all permanents as I expect all to show up and get their house ready to remove on Monday.

FYI’s:  All wheelhouses in the storage lot that have not registered and paid for summer storage at the office will have to have them removed by Sunday Feb 28th. We will be pulling all houses off the lake starting Monday March 1st.  I will continue to maintain roads to the Tullibee Hole and areas to try for Northern Pike for anglers as long as weather permits and there is demand for it.

I’m hoping the weather changes the next couple days and possible snow near the end of the weekend will get the bite going again, We will just have to wait and see…

Keep a Tight Line!       Eddy
