Today we opened up all the driveways to all the houses left out of our access. Permanents must get up here and get their houses ready to pull Sunday as everything is coming off the lake.

We also plowed over 60 wheelhouse spots in all ranges of structure from deep edges to shallow basins where we have had good fishing at times this year.  If you want to call and reserve a spot for the weekend, call the office right away Friday morning.  The weather looks like it’s going to be a nice ending to the season with some wind on Saturday, but nothing like we have seen most of the winter.  The main roads turned out really good considering all the snow we had.  But off the roads it is a different story.

The bite has been typical late season was mainly early morning and late afternoon, especially in the shallower reefs in 12-18 feet.   Daytime Perch action in the basin areas in 16-20 feet.  We reopened the road to the “Tullibee Hole” for those that want to try. So far this year it’s been quiet out there, but sooner or later they will turn on for awhile when the hellgrammites hatch out.

Keep a Tight Line!
