Friday night and Saturday reports started coming in and pictures were being sent to me of nice C/R Walleye. Some reports were very good, others mediocre, and a few didn’t do well at all.  The trend seemed to be big fish over 24″.

The warm temps brought out many portable, and wheelhouse anglers, and after the cold spell we had it was nice to see the bite was back on.  The ice hasn’t pushed as temps have warmed up so far for us in our area, but I did hear of other areas of the lake where it did.

Sunday I will be staying in the office checking fishermen as they leave and will get a better picture of how the bite went.
