As I write this the NW wind has switched and picked up. Last evening we received less than a half inch of snow. And just before that some freezing mist/drizzle. I’m hoping it put a cap on what snow was out there so all that will be drifting might be the new stuff. We’ll see as the wind speed picks up.
The Walleye bite was pretty quiet from most reports I’ve heard overnight. There was a some good reports from some yesterday evening at dusk, but not what most expected with the barometer dropping the way it did.
This weekend will be a weekend to get out there and stay put with this colder weather and wind. And it’s best to stay in the area that the resort you went out of maintains. Last weekend some decided to travel cross country, it caused more problems than not for all involved. Try to show some respect for others out there this weekend.
Keep a Tight Line! Eddy
