Yesterday the bite was still pretty slow.  Fishermen with cameras reported alot of lookers but no biters.  High pressure this time of year seems to amplify the effects of the bite.  The Walleye are there, just not interested.

Yesterday we closed one road for repair over the crack running east west and will be running on the Graveyard Road today and reopening the “Tullibee Road” tomorrow. This past week with the colder temps the pressure ridge turned into a crack that was opening up 4-6 inches per day and now it’s settling down and should be good for the weekend.  To all wheelhouses that called and got on the list  I would recommend a call before you come to ensure everything is still a go just so everyone is on the same page. Depending on how it looks on both road crossings will determine how big of rigs we let go over them. There is a 20 inches or more of ice on the roads but for the amount and weight of traffic over it can mess things up in a hurry.

The weather forecast is for slight chances of snow flurries. It should help the help the fishing over the weekend.

Keep a Tight Line!   Eddy
