Yesterday as anglers came of the ice most reports were of under the slot Walleyes with Fri -Sat night the over the slot Walleyes on some areas in the gravel and reefs.  The Perch bite was slower with  the smaller ones more active than the “keepers”.  Many anglers with cameras were watching them.  The overall bite was a little slower.

About 3pm the winds hit and until dusk it was a steady 30mph with gusts at times to probably 45 or so.  But the snow from the evening before was so wet it didn’t blow and the only snow causing the whiteout conditions was fresh. And this morning its still blowing, but visibility is improving.  We are going to lay low and let the wind slow down before going out, which will probably be tomorrow am.
