Yesterday of the rentals showed up and were fishing by mid afternoon.  Reports of those that came Thursday and fished overnite were pretty good.  One house with two fishermen had 16 Walleye . Another had 8 and fishermen sent in some nice pictures of “overs”.   Due to the ice conditions I put most of the houses in shallower spots than I normally would this time of year, but I had to make sure they were on good ice Hopefully last evening most of them did OK.  I did get some pictures sent after hours, so I know a few were getting them.

I reopened the road to the Banana Reef and plowed over to the Tundra yesterday.  Today I will finishing that and others, The “Bowl”,the “Bank”and roads to fishing spots.  And if time allows head to the “east bar” and to the west.  What I don’t finish today I will tomorrow.Cold has finally started the freezing process below the ice and we are actually making ice!  Most of the slush spots have froze, but I still found a couple yesterday. Tomorrow afternoon after the roads have sat overnite we will drill and get ice depths recorded,

Starting Monday we will be pulling privates out and the goal is to get everyone on the ice by next weekend.  You will be called the day it is out there. Also if our crack heals that is crossing both roads in it’s usual spot we will start with 1/2 ton trucks and single axle wheelhouses also.

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
