Friday the bite picked up. It actually started Thursday evening. some of the rentals did very well overnight and by what reports I heard last evening it was a good day for most.  The shallow rock reefs did well in the evening and the deeper reefs are doing better during the day.

The ice roads are doing pretty good as most going out of here are keeping the speeds down as they should.  With the stable weather the pressure ridge is not moving which is nice to see.  Hopefully it freeze to the point that it will not move the rest of the winter. After the weekend plans are that we will be getting across it out by the Banana Reef and straighten out the roads like we normally have year by year.   The “thin ice” areas that we have been staying away from in that area should be thick enough know to go across.  I will be checking them Monday and go from there.

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
