January 12th, 2022

I’m writing this post early, (tonight January 11), because tomorrow is going to be a busy day and I want my customers that watch this to know what is going on to plan for the weekend.

All permanent houses that are planning to come up for the weekend need to call Wednesday or Thursday so we have driveways plowed for those that are coming.  Same goes if you are wanting holes drilled or stove on.  The 10 that went out today will be called first thing Wednesday morning and as of last count there are about 15 in storage lot to go out.  Many did not call to get on the pull list as I checked tonite. If you haven’t heard from us by tomorrow at noon you should call if you want to go this weekend.  I don’t want miscommunication or something to screw things up for us or you. Today we accomplished alot out there and plan on more tomorrow.

Paid Seasonal Wheelhouse customers if planning to come up this weekend need to call Wednesday or Thursday if they plan on coming up this weekend and fall under the 12,000lb combined vehicle/wheelhouse weight restriction.  All rental customers, permanent owners and portable anglers with an individual 7500lb vehicle will be allowed also.  Our “Weekend Wheelhouse” list will start on Tuesday, January 18th at 7:00 am for the following weekend.  To get on the list you need to call to reserve a spot as we restrict the amount of houses out in the areas we go to.  I want everyone to have their space after what I’ve seen the last few years with the explosion of wheelhouses. We will not take on more than we can handle. Especially with the ice conditions and snow this year so far.  It takes more effort , but I want everyone out of here to have  their spot. It’s more enjoyable for ALL of our customers.

We have a couple rentals open due to “Covid Cancelations”.   Just a word on that… All of are rentals are fogged and wiped down with a product called “Concrobium” before customers use the house.  It is an all natural based product that kills most known Sars-Cov-V2 viruses. We started using it at my Marine business two years ago on the advice from a customer that owns the 10-29 Restaurant/Bar in Mpls and it works. We used it on our rentals last year and are again this year. so you will not need to worry about walking into an “infected” house.  What you bring is yours… personally I think all this Covid thing is alot of political hype now compared to what it was two years ago. I agree some are affected severely by it, just as some with the flu and other viruses over the years also. Maybe they should look at the number of death by Fentynal,  More die from it than almost anything else…. But we will do our part to make your stay as safe from it as possible.  (Hope the Walleyes don’t get it….)    🙂

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
