Yesterday as fishermen were checking out most reported a good weekend.  A few didn’t do as well but we moved them to different houses, as they opened up and that helped.  The shallower spots did the best on Friday eve thru Saturday morning. And again on Sunday afternoon thru the evening.

I spent the day widening the main roads in prep for the end of week storm coming.  It’s too early to tell the amounts, but sounds like it will not be very good out there Friday and Saturday.  Privates should take notice.  The plan was to pull and have everything out there for the weekend, but do you want it out there if there is going to be drifts and flooding around your house?  Let’s all hope the snow stays to the south.  With the cold forecast after we will have good ice. Those of you with bigger houses should call the office if you know what I mean. With 13-15″ of ice on the average farther out it does not hold weight too well.

Rentals need to confirm their reservations for the weekend today, and because of the possibility of the storm we will probably touch base again midweek as to what is going to happen Fri/Sat.

We are allowing single axle wheel houses out with trucks weighing under a combined weight of less than 9000 lbs total weight, Every one going out will need to stay below 10 mph on the ice roads,

Keep a Tight line!     Eddy
