Yesterday I received mixed reports from anglers and overall the bite was slow for most with a few exceptions. With this weather coming in and barometer dropping I except changes.
The NOAA forecast for this area is predicting 1″-3″of snow Thursday , 1″-3″ Thursday evening, 1″-2″ Friday with strong N-NW winds with gusts to 30 mph. and then Saturday calming down and being a nice weekend. I am going to keep working on roads today and preparing for it.
We will be letting single vehicles weighing under 7000 lbs out. As far as wheelhouses go. Customers that have paid for the season, or have paid weekly fees already and have houses sitting here waiting to go out, along with my permanent house customers they will take priority and go out first. (They need to call the office for more info). When the ice improves and I get my customers taken care of I will open it for others, and you will know when that happens by reading this report. At that time we will start our Tuesday sign-up sheet for the following weekend like we did last year, as we limit the amount going out thru here. We started that last year and it was well received. Also read wheelhouse rates page as changes have been made.
Keep a Tight Line!
