The warmer weather is making it really nice to be out on the ice the last couple days, and making up for the cold and high winds we had last week.

It is starting to change the bite also, not probably the temps but the lower-steadier barometer.  Activity is picking up from what I seen yesterday.  I’m thinking we are going to have a period of pretty good fishing the next 6-10 days with the stable weather.

Ice conditions are good.  With this warmer weather it will push somewhere, but it will probably move other areas on the lake, but not around here.  It has been that pattern so far this year and don’t expect it change until we get snow cover out there.

Cindy got a chance to go out to her house last evening and I moved it into a shallow spot, (9 feet) and caught and released two 14″ Walleyes and had two others on from 4:30 to 6:30pm.  Just goes to show deep water isn’t the only place to fish!

Keep a Tight Line!
