Yesterday’s fishing activity was mainly in the deeper water. Quite a few nice sized Walleye were C/R, and the Gravel Bars had activity but more smaller Walleye were caught. Some nice sized Perch started to show up in spots in close.

After checking ice and moving some houses I got a road started out towards the Banana Reef from west of Spider Island, thru the Bowl and then to the Banana.  The ice out there is considerably thinner in spots, (12-14 inches) so we will not be having wheelhouses go out there this weekend and until we measure 18 inches it will be off limits. The pressure ridge is causing alot of extra plowing this year.  Hopefully this colder weather coming the next couple weeks will stabilize it and we will have multiple places to cross.

Keep a Tight Line!   Eddy
