Yesterday from what reports  I heard the bite was fairly slow with lots of Perch action, (small) and a Walleye here and there.  But after the Holiday there were not many out.  I would presume that just before the wind switch and barometer change late yesterday afternoon there was some action.

Seasonal Wheelhouse and permanent customers should call today if they are coming for the weekend so we can plan to start plowing wheelhouse spots and driveways for privates today and tomorrow.  The “weekend wheelhouse ” list filled yesterday. Depending on how many Seasonal wheelhouses plan on coming this weekend I might add openings to the weekend wheelhouse list and let you know on the report Thursday morning.

Yesterday when the sun came out and the snow softened to the point that when I cleared spots it piled up and when backing away the plow had left a imprint.  So the snow has definitely settled some.  With it turning cold again if you are a wheelhouse and don’t want a plowed spot you will need chains for your truck as it is going to be some pretty hard stuff and if you spin down thru it, you will be there…  We will be measuring ice depths on the roads Thursday and marking the “go/no go” roads for the wheelhouse/vehicle rigs that weigh over 12,000lbs for the weekend on the maps they receive when checking in on Friday.   Individual vehicle weight limit will remain at 7500lbs.

We had a couple Covid cancelations on the rentals for the coming weekend, so there still is some openings if you would like one.  Keep in mind we sanitize and fog or rentals with Concrobiem, (an all natural based dissinfectant proven to kill Sars viruses).  So what you bring is yours….

Keep a Tight LIne!       Eddy
