Yesterday the bite was pretty slow from what reports I heard.  Did see a couple “keepers” caught. But the barometer was pretty high.

I pulled seven houses yesterday and will probably get about the same amount today as it is a slow process when roads and spots have to be plowed and I’m the only one doing it.  I have help with getting them out of the storage lot and setting them up when they are on the ice. But I’m doing the rest.  Which brings to mention. Yesterday customers were calling and telling the office when they will be up.  If they had read yesterday’s report they would have understood that they, (you)  will be called when your house is out.  I have a list and a plan of how to get things done out there and that is the way it will be. If you think that your calling and telling the office when you will be up will somehow get you ahead of others on the list up you are wrong.  If anything it will put you back to the end of the list.  You will be called when your house is out. Then you can make your plans.

Wheelhouses for the same reason will not be going out of my access except for seasonal paid customers and longstanding ones that have paid over $200.00/year for the last couple years. (To be loyal to those that have been loyal to me), After I get everybody out there and settled I will expand the roads out farther and open up for more wheelhouse traffic.  Sorry, but that is the way it will be.

I’m sorry the weather and ice conditions didn’t allow us to get you out sooner. But if it wasn’t what I felt was safe we weren’t going.  And running short handed has made the “push” to get out there after this storm slower, but I’m doing the best I can.

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
