Yesterday the Walleye bite was slow, but some of those that had stayed over, the night before, did pretty good shallow water. Those that were quiet did well. Last evening from what reports I’ve heard this morning were very similar.
Looks like the weather system is weakening somewhat and the snow forecast is calling for a inch or two of snow and not much wind. So a very similar weather pattern as last weekend, except for some warmer temperatures than last.
The ice roads are doing well and if everyone keeps there speeds when traveling on them down like last weekend it will be a good thing for everyone. Remember, all wheelhouses must be on the ice before dark, none will be let go after dark. It would be appreciated if all permanents would follow suit with early arrivals also. It is really nice to see the everyone out there and no commotion after dark. And it really helps the chance of catching some fish for everyone.
Keep a Tight LIne! Eddy
