Sunday I spent time in the office checking out fishermen.  Over all it was a pretty good weekend for most. Some didn’t have any luck, but compared to those that did it was minimal. Mostly it was a good bite Thursday evening thru Friday evening.  Friday after dark the NW wind picked up, barometer went up and fishing slowed thru Saturday until around 3:00 pm to after dark.  There was many reports of activity then. overnight and into Sunday noon the bite slowly picked up. Numerous anglers said the later in the morning the better it was.  There was a lot of nice sized Walleye C/R, and numerous reports of slots also.

For those that can sneak away the next couple evenings to get up here the shallow night bite should be really good with the full moon.  I already have had fishermen interested in coming up and fishing all the shallow rock areas we have out in front of us.  It just might be worth the trip!

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
