Early Monday am. the crack we were dealing with opened again with the cold temps from Sunday and Sunday night finally getting to the ice.  We spent the a.m. filling and resetting the ramps on three roads.  On the Graveyard Road we measured the total width of it since it first opening a week ago and it was approx. 30 inches.  It only opened 10″ yesterday but the 10″ inches of each side of it was only 3-4 inches thick. Except where we packed it full of snow early in the week on our roads. (And there were fishermen driving out of the bays over the weekend driving right over it like it wasn’t even there.)  It’s wide enough now that someone will drop a front end end if they don’t watch it.  Just might be a good idea if your going to fish an area……go out of the resort that is in that area so they can tell you what is going on…..

Fishing was slow yesterday. We only had one house rented. Tuesday more are rented and with the warmer temps I’m presuming we’ll see some portable fishermen with the warmer temps.
