March 25th, 2014

Believe it or not we are still out there with roads.  The bite for Tullibee and Perch has been slow the last four days with sub-zero mornings and teens for highs.  A week ago when the weather was warmer fishing was pretty good and this weekend when it warms up again I’ll bet they will go again.

Ice is not a problem, most are drilling to the handles when they go out there and the cold weather has froze any wet spots on the roads solid and the going is really good.  Off the roads are a different story.  Still there is 6 to 16 inches of snow that is hard and easy to get stuck in if you don’t have 4WD.  but I have alot of places to pull off to park and find a spot to fish.

I’m going to be at the NW Sportshow this weekend. (first time Lybacks Marine actually has a booth!) so the boss will be running the show up here at home. (Cindy)  Please call ahead the night before coming up so she can get a worker to check roads if we get snow, or plow spots for wheelhouses if needed.  (320-676-8740)  With the forecast coming this weekend I want everyone that want to come up to be ok.

Keep a Tight Line!
