I finished opening up more roads to areas for the weekend this morning.  Quite a few fishermen have already shown up for the weekend with wheelhouses and I’m thinking with this nice weather coming and the barometer dropping it should be a great weekend to be out there and celebrate the end of the cold stuff.

Tullibees and Perch are out in the “Tullibee Hole”. This am reports were lots of smaller Tullibee on the bottom and the larger ones running higher with some nice sized Perch mixed in.  I definitely suggest that you bring a camera to fish out there as it will be alot easier to see how finicky they are.  Some fishermen are going shallow for Perch and pike and that isn’t a bad idea either.  There has been some good Perch 10′ and larger in some spots, although you will get smaller ones in the mix, so bring plenty of bait.  Small Crappie minnows are working too.
