Those that got out there early this morning had good luck for Perch and Tullibee. From the reports I heard so far by about 2pm it started slowing down.  Best action was deep out in the Tullibee Hole. But there was some nice ones caught in shallow from those fishing for Pike.  But more smaller ones than keepers.  Didn’t hear any reports of Pike except for a couple line breakers and a 40″ plus seen on a camera in the Tullibee Hole.

Overnight the ice really pushed and our main road out heaved to the point of no repair or attempt to bridge it.  But we found a way around it so we can still get out there for now.  it is about a half mile detour from normal but it is good going so far.

With the warmer temps it’s melting on shore but not out on the lake so far and it sounds like we might see some snow Sunday which would be good.  it will insulate the ice and slow down the melt.  I know everyone is looking forward to warm days, but I’m not ready yet.    🙂

Keep a Tight Line!
