Woke up this a.m. to seeing ice forming on the main lake. The cold temps and wind is really chilling the water down now. Future weather forecast for the rest of the week isn’t looking too good for ice making, but when the cold does return it should go quick.
With ice on the bays and smaller lakes in the area, please use extreme caution and think twice about before trying to walk on it. We’ll have plenty of time to get out there and enjoy it when it’s safer.
