It looks like the lake will be open sometime tomorrow. Strong NW winds have moved the ice, and there is open water NW of Hennepin Island and to our NW by about 3 miles. The ice is pretty soft and doesn’t appear to be doing much for damage.

The ice is moving. With the winds switching to the NW for the next few days, a lot will happen on the main lake.

Our main webcam is currently down, and the view there is from March 5th.

The cooler temps over the last few days have slowed the deterioration of the ice. Maybe it will last another week or two.
