Hello to all that read this report.  Today, November 1st, is the first day we start taking rental reservations. our office is not open yet, but calls transfer to home and Cindy has the book ready. Try to call between 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday if possible until the office is open.

This year will be the 70th season on the ice for Lybacks Ice Fishing.  Out of those 70 years I have been out there for over 50 of them. There will be alot of stories to tell in the book when I’m finished…

This year all the rentals got new paint, some new carpet, some new mattresses, more solar powered battery lights and 100 watt panels, and all had the paneling cleaned and wiped with linseed oil.  So they are all ready to go..

I have updated all the prices for rentals and permanents. and also changed  fees for our wheelhouse customers.  Check out the other pages for this site for that.  When we are completely done with the rentals and their improvements, we will be taking new pictures inside and out and post them on the rental page, (hopefully by Thanksgiving.

Seasonal Rates have been updated on the website for this coming year.

I am working on updating the Red House Rental page with new pictures of the place and it’s accommodations, and hope to have that ready soon.  This year is it will be available for winter rentals. Since we have our Ice Fishing Office in the restored barn.  It is now available for ice fishermen that do not want to stay overnight on the ice, snowmobilers and cross country skiers.  With Father Hennepin State Park just around the corner it is convenient for the skiers.

Cindy and I are looking forward to a good winter this year.

This is due to a customer renting our Red House for most of August that canceled due to an injury.  We have numerous weeks open.

July 26th-Aug1st,   August 2nd-August 8th, Aug 17th-August 23rd,  August 24th – August 30th.

August 31st – September 6th,   September 7th – Sept 13th.

Please call 320-676-8740 to book a week. Info on the rental can be found on our summer rental page of this website. It costs $1000/week. You can also call 320-980-3706 (Eddy’s Cell) if you have questions. Losing that booked period was quite a blow to Cindy and me as we always booked on word of honor and didn’t require deposits.  So if you know one that might be interested let them know.
