This morning we had about 4 above zero so there was some ice being made last evening.  Looking out to the NW across the lake there were some areas of steam from area not froze over yet, but they were a long ways out.  You could tell the NW wind had things moving out there as 2-3 miles out from us there are now numerous areas of ice ridges scattered all over the place.  The good thing is that the ice is so thin out there  and it won’t hold much weight.  So alot of the bigger ridges and ice pile will sink as time goes.

I’m going to wait until tomorrow for my next walk.  It will give us a lot better idea of where we are at for walking for the weekend.  Sounds like warmer weather coming again, so we’ll see what happens..

Keep a Tight Line!    Be Safe!
