More and more it seems the Walleye bite is at night. Both deep and shallow. The last few days it seems like it from what I’ve heard.
We put more spots out on the Banana Reef for wheelhouses and some in closer for Perch and Northern Pike fishermen. Today I will be headed to the Tullibee Hole if the slushed out spots are frozen. Unfortunately we closed the road to the Gravel Bars for a couple days as the warmer weather earlier this week caused some flooding of banks as cracks on the main lake ice in spots crossed the roads. We will need some colder weather to reopen it.
The weather is supposed to be nice for the next few days so it should be enjoyable to be out there.
Keep a Tight Line!
