February 11th, 2025

The Walleye bite has been mainly at dusk hours and early morning at sunrise for the last couple of days.  Over the weekend many went out in the mud areas in front of us looking for Perch.  When they found the schools with cameras the greater majority of them were small, with very few schools with larger Perch.  Some fishermen caught Perch in the 10-12″ range in shallower gravel basin areas.

With the cold weather for the next couple of days, it will be quiet out there. So, the few that are out should have some good full-moon fishing.

We have a few rentals left for the weekend so call if you would like one.  Wheelhouses should contact to get on the weekend list if they are coming, and it’s recommended to bring chains to put on if you are “off-roading,” or if you get on the list and want a spot, we will get one ready for you for an extra $25.00.

Permanent customers will receive a statement in the mail this week to settle their accounts before the end of the season on February 23rd. And houses will be coming off the lake starting February 24th.  If the Perch and Northern Pike fishing improves like it usually does later in the month, I will keep roads open to the Tullibee Hole for Perch and Tullibee and to the Northern Pike areas we typically go to for as long as the weather cooperates and fishermen show up to make it worth the while.

Keep a Tight Line!!
