Yesterday we received a couple more inches of snow and NW wind. So there was some drifting but the north-south roads faired OK, but anything east/west roads didn’t do so well. Hopefully we won’t see any major snow until after the season is over. It is averaging 10-14 inches on the level out there without any plowing and the bottom 4-6 inches is old hard snow, so there will not be much more off-roading anymore. Wheelhouses that store here weekly that are coming this weekend and. think they want a spot plowed should call by end of business day today. We are going to get a bunch of wind from the NW Thursday, so even without any snow there will be considerable drifting . So advance notice so we can alot for time would be appreciated.
Fishermen that were out yesterday and ovenight haven’t stopped in yet, but the couple reports I heard the bite was moving more shallow. We are going to be moving some more into shallower water for the end of season also.
Permanents that think they are not going to be up the last weekend, (Feb23-24) need to get up here this weekend and get their house ready to pull. inside and out. With all the snow out there now it is important to have them ready and up on blocks.
Weather over the weekend looks pretty nice so the fishing should be pretty good. With a full moon coming the night bite should be good in shallow the last 10 days of the season,
Keep a Tight Line! Eddy
