Yesterday and last evening there were mixed reports. Overall the more consistent bite was in shallow. Quite a few reported “line breakers”. This morning a 43″ Musky was C/R. So activity despite the cold is shallower. Not saying the deeper water hasn’t had some good catches also.
So far fishermen have been tolerating the cold weather quite well, our rentals have been cozy warm, and very few reported problems with others LP. The next two evenings will be the coldest from what they say, then a gradual warm-up over next week . I’m sure almost everyone will welcome that.
I know more tomorrow when everyone checks out about the the weekend bite.
Keep a Tight Line! Eddy
