We moved some more rentals to some new shallow water spots over the last two days. The Walleye are increasingly showing up there in the late afternoon/early evening and during daybreak hours. During the day, some nicer-sized perch also appear in the catch. Some of our longtime wheelhouse customers were out this week in the Gravel Bars we go to and mostly found small Walleye everywhere they went. The colder weather seemed to shut the bite down overnight deep and shallow. But with the warmer weather coming a little this weekend and again towards the end of next week, I’m hoping for a good finish out there. We still have three rentals left available for this weekend, so give us a call if interested.
Permanent customers need to settle their accounts before the end of next weekend as the houses will be coming off starting February 24th. Wheelhouses that want to stay later into March or store for the summer will need to be parked in two specific areas in our storage lot by February 23rd. Check with the office as to where before then. If they are not, we will move the wheels down or up. The storage area must be clear for the permanent houses coming off the lake.
Wheelhouses are coming this weekend; if they are off-roading and don’t want a plowed spot, they should have a set of chains. With the possible snow coming Friday/Friday night along with the snow we already have out there might come in handy. Call to get on the weekend wheelhouse list so we get an idea whos coming up.
Keep a Tight Line!
